I BUILT THE GOLDEN CAGE FIRST. THEN I recalibrated.

I'm Jodie Hayward. I help women build businesses that give them freedom, wealth, power and presence, on their own definition of success. Not someone else's.

Before

I've been exactly where you are.

All I ever wanted was to be a mum. So I leaned into my zone of genius, hunting for the thing that would let me stay home with my kids and do work I actually loved.

And somewhere along the way, I drank the koolaid. I bought into the bigger vision, the one where money was the goal. I took the courses. I hired the coaches. I bought the blueprints. And still, there seemed to be a secret sauce I just didn't have.

Where was the freedom everyone else had on Instagram? Surely I was missing something. I'd be up at midnight rewriting a sales page nobody asked for, telling myself this was what building something takes.

The middle

Then my daughter was born.

And it hit me. It was a version of success, and a vision, that was never mine. I'd built myself a golden cage. It looked like success from the outside and felt heavy on the inside. It gave me validation, and it cost me myself.

So I recalibrated. I let go of the team, the clients, the version of success that only worked on paper. And I rebuilt from my own truth. That decision didn't come from a strategy or a framework. It came from getting still enough to hear the quiet voice that said: this isn't it, but you can have more.

Who I am

Ten years behind the biggest launches.

Ten years as the operational force behind some of the UK's biggest launches and businesses. Now I build two things at the same time: the business that scales, and the woman who can hold it. That's Radical Alignment, and it's my life's work.

After

I don't buy that version of success anymore.

And I don't build it for anyone else, either. I work with women who define success on their own terms. Whether that's being a stay-at-home mum. Building something you can run from a laptop on the other side of the world. Staying small and deeply profitable. Or a big vision that scares you a little.

None of it has to look like success from the outside. It only has to be yours. Mine looks like school pickup with wet hair and a business that grew while I was outside with the kids. Yours might look nothing like that. And that's rather the point.

"I have been reunited with myself, and am living life with authenticity, surrounded by a sense of calm and possibility."
